Getting Started
What is steadybase?
steadybase gives you a team of digital workers—an assistant, plus optional specialists—who handle your busy work while you focus on what matters. They're available 24/7, they remember everything you tell them, and they get smarter the more you work together.
What can my digital workers actually do?
A lot: Draft content (emails, blog posts, social media, documents), research topics and summarize findings, answer questions and provide information, organize your thoughts and plans, track goals and provide accountability, edit and polish your writing, format and publish content, analyze data and provide strategic insights, remember context and apply it across conversations. If it's knowledge work that can be done with words, your team can probably help.
Is this like ChatGPT?
Similar technology, different purpose. ChatGPT is a general-purpose chatbot. steadybase is a personalized workforce. Your digital workers know you—your voice, your preferences, your projects. They remember what you told them last month. They work together as a team. It's the difference between asking a stranger for help and delegating to someone who knows you.
How do I get started?
Sign up, answer a few questions about yourself and your work, and your assistant is ready. Takes about ten minutes. You can start delegating immediately.
Plans and Pricing
How much does it cost?
Plans: Solo ($99/month for one account), Duo ($149/month for two accounts), Family ($199/month for up to five accounts). Add-ons are $49/month each: Content Creator, Coach, Editor, Strategist, Researcher, Publisher. Start with a plan, add specialists when you need them.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. You can try basic functionality without paying or entering a credit card. When you're ready for the full experience, upgrade to a paid plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly billing, no contracts. Cancel whenever you want.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Do add-ons apply to all accounts on my plan?
Yes. If you're on the Family plan with five accounts and add the Content Creator, all five accounts have access to the Content Creator.
Privacy and Security
How is my data stored?
Your data is stored in encrypted databases. We use industry-standard security practices: encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, regular security audits.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your conversations are never used to train models. Your data belongs to you, not us.
Who can see my data?
You. That's it. Your digital workers use your data to help you—they don't share it with anyone, including other steadybase users. Our team only accesses your data if you explicitly request support that requires it.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete conversations, projects, or your entire account at any time. Deletion is permanent—we don't keep hidden backups.
Do you sell my data?
No. Never. We make money by providing a useful service, not by selling your information.
Features and Functionality
How does memory work?
Your digital workers remember everything you tell them, across all conversations. They know your preferences, your projects, your voice. This context builds over time, making them increasingly useful.
How do my digital workers work together?
When you have multiple specialists, they coordinate automatically. Your assistant can hand tasks to your content creator. Your researcher can feed insights to your strategist. Your editor can review what your content creator drafts. You don't have to manage the handoffs.
What languages are supported?
English is fully supported. Other languages have varying levels of support. Best results are in English for now.
Can I use steadybase on mobile?
Yes. iOS and Android apps are available. Everything syncs across devices.
What if I'm not satisfied with the output?
Give feedback. Tell your worker what you'd prefer. They learn from every interaction. The more specific your feedback, the faster they improve.
Accounts and Sharing
Can I share my account with others?
Each person should have their own account. That's why we offer Duo and Family plans—so multiple people can have their own personalized workers at a lower cost per person.
Can accounts on the same plan share information?
You can choose to share specific projects or context between accounts on the same plan. By default, everything is private to each account.
Can I use steadybase for my business?
Absolutely. Many users use steadybase for business content, research, and coordination. If you need more than five accounts or have specific business requirements, contact us about custom plans.
Add-ons
Do I need add-ons?
No. Your assistant is capable of handling most tasks on their own. Add-ons provide specialists with deeper focus in specific areas. Start without add-ons; add them when you feel the need.
Can I switch add-ons?
Yes. Add or remove add-ons anytime. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
What's the difference between my assistant and the specialists?
Your assistant is a generalist who handles everyday tasks across all areas. Specialists go deeper in their domain—a Content Creator focuses entirely on writing, an Editor focuses entirely on polish, etc. They work together, with your assistant often coordinating handoffs.
Technical Questions
What if steadybase is down?
We maintain high availability and monitor uptime constantly. In the rare event of an outage, we communicate status at status.steadybase.io and work to restore service quickly.
How often do you release updates?
Continuously. We improve capabilities regularly. You'll always have the latest without needing to do anything.
Do I need to install software?
No. steadybase works in your browser. Apps are available for iOS and Android but not required.
